The messages are downloaded and are already on the phone, it's just a matter of querying them from their respective inboxes.

It doesn't seem it could be that difficult to have an 'All Mail' inbox that would display the most recent mails from all active accounts a user has on the phone.
#Inbox app for mac update
This would make an excellent addition to the next update release of the iPhone OS. So, to conclude, it should show me all messages sent from both mac and phone and from both accounts when I look at googlemail on my mac. Then again, from what you have said, I guess it wouldn't matter at all if hotmail didn't sync with hotmail on mac as I could use the googlemail on mac for everything. I've tried the sync with googlemail and it works instantly but the only way I can do this at the moment with hotmail is by sending my hotmail message from MBox mail app which syncs fine with my mac hotmail. ie if I send an email through mail on my hotmail address and then go to hotmail on the mac, I'm pretty sure whichever way I do this, it won't show the sent message on the mac, only the phone. The problems is that only the googlemail will sync to my googlemail on mac, I'm pretty sure my Hotmail wont sync to my hotmail on mac, even if I have it linked to my googlemail as discussed. Thanks very much for that, I'll give it a go.ĭo you know if I can send a hotmail through googlemail as well as recieve? Then, if so, i can send and recieve for both accounts within mail app and leave my hotmail page all together and just use Mail instead.
